you're so overrated #2 - lime crime lipsticks

Hey guys!

Last year, I started a series of which I would write about products hyped up within the beauty world that really fell short for me. I was really happy with the way it went over with you guys, you really seemed to appreciate the honesty without ever being rude or leaving innappropriate comments. I'm really hoping that doesn't change with what I'm about to write about.

I'm going to start with a massive disclaimer:

This is solely based on MY OWN experience of the products shown. This experience is in no way a reflection of the way I feel about Lime Crime or it's founder, but rather how they have individually performed on my lips. Mwah.

Okay, so now that's out of the way, let's just get a tiny weeny bit personal. I don't like Lime Crime. I really really don't. These were brought before I had done research on the company and knew about its founders questionnable morals and ethics. However, like I said, this post is honestly and completely all about the way I feel about these lipsticks - and I felt this way BEFORE hearing Lime Crime's history. I understand could potentially be a controversial post for some, and I won't be making this a rant about the company. If you are unsure of what I am speaking about, you can google Lime Crimes history and see there for yourself.

So stop right here if you're not interested in reading about my negative experience with these lipsticks - promise I won't hate you! But, if you are someone who is thinking about making the purchase, and is still unsure/if you're just interested in hearing my thoughts, please read on!

From l-r; Coquette, Babette & Centrifuschia

Now to the lipsticks themselves. I have never ever before been so disappointed by lipsticks in my life. I own a lot of lipsticks, let's be real, and I can honestly say that these come at the bottom of the pack. I want to say that the advertising on these lipsticks are completely off the track - of the three that I own, NONE have matched up to the swatches or colour on the lips shown on the Lime Crime website. I understand that some editing is maybe necessary, even a tinsy bit of photoshop. But come on, LC seriously? I was most disappointed with Babette - it looked like this gorgeous pastel-ly nude-y orange/coral, and in reality it is NOTHING like the advertisement that I originally brought it for. And also Coquette! I swear all the Youtubers get the good versions and the rest of us get the duds.

First of all, the bullet packaging. While they look cute, quirky and different, you can tell by holding them that they feel cheap and tacky. They're big as well - thick and clunky compared to MAC. Not only that, they don't seem to do their job by holding the lipstick in place. Both Coquette and Babette have managed to both slant and run up the side of bullet. They also don't seem to be holding in very well to their packaging (as you can see in the photo below) and I'm guessing if I actually used them that it would have completely torn off by now. Let me also be clear that the damage shown in the picture below is with pretty minimal useage.

Second of all, they're supposedly super creamy but manage to show up every single crack and dryness on my lip without the lasting power of a matte lipstick. They wear off about an hour after application, and considering these are considered high end lipsticks with a pretty decent price tag, I expect better. They also smell like a rip off of MAC lipsticks, sort of like an off vanilla.

Thirdly, they sweat like no other lipstick I own. These have been kept upright and out of the heat, and yet they all have beads of sweat on them, especially Centrifushchia. I did try to get a clear photo, but unfortunately it wasn't working out for me. If you look hard in the first picture, you are able to see it. To me, again, for a supposedly higher end lipstick, I expect SO much better. I feel like these are almost going off as we speak because of how much they sweat and stew in these below grade plastic casing.

So there you have it - regardless of what you think of the company, its pretty obvious these lipsticks are not worth the money. If you've managed to make them work for you, let me know down below! Otherwise, I'm pretty certain these will be given away or thrown out soon..

my beauty resolutions 2015

Hey guys!

I got this super smart idea from the gorgeous Sarah from Bows & Pleats - making New Year resolutions decdicated to improving your beauty status, as I call it. Let's be real - us make up junkies have some serious issues. We hoard (both make up and packaging), we buy more than one of the same product, are suckers for packaging and more often than not have something similar (if not the same) already sitting in our drawers unused.

I am willing to admit that I own way more make up than necessary for one small girl. And of course, do I ever find the time to use it all? No - I actually rarely wear makeup most days, maybe 3-4 times a week. Not that I am ashamed of how much I own - quite the opposite, actually. I love my collection, and I love looking at it and seeing how much I've stuck to something for the past couple of years. However, since starting blogging last year, my collection has grown immensely, to the point where my drawers are full of products that are just going to go off, and sit there sad and lonely. I've just realised that while it's fine to collect make up and use it, it's a little unnecessary to have drawers full of it - and to keep buying it when there's no room.

It's no secret that I don't do new years resolutions - only because I rarely stick to them. But, I'm making an exception in this case. I'm not saying that I will always stick to them, I mean come on, we all have slip ups or times where we need to treat ourselves. But, I will try to keep these in the back burner of my mind before going into Mecca and just handing them my credit card. We are strong confident women ladies, and we can do this!

I've picked five main points that I will be sticking to as consistenly as I can. Read on to see what I chose!

1. Unless its the MAC Cinderella Collection Bek, you will not buy something just because it looks pretty.

So yes, I am guilty of buying products purely because the packaging on the outside is gorgeous. Sometimes, in the heat of the moment, I don't even really care about the product on the inside. Which would be fine if it was for collecting purposes, but we buy make up to actually make use of it and a black lipstick inside beautiful packaging is not of use to me. So this year, with the exception of few collections (of which I actually like the product), I will not judge a book by its cover and buy it purely because of decoration.

2. Stop buying shitty drugstore products because you're in Priceline and decided that you can't leave the store without at least one thing

Guuuuuuurl, I see you shaking your head but let's be real - the drugstore has proven to have some real duds rather than gems. And then I see gorgeous higher end product, which are usually only $10-20 more than what I just spent my money on, and I get cranky - because I implusively threw money down on something I didn't really need or want, and now I can't have the Too Faced Hangover Primer until next pay day. So now, I'm putting my foot down - and not just throwing my money at Priceline unless I actually need it, or have proof its an actual good product.

3. Go through your make up and throw shit out! Think you need all those eyeshadow palettes you never use? Think again.

I've already done this once this year (using the principle of 'if it hasn't touched your face in a month, it needs to go'), and not only do I have space for more activities, it was also clearing for my mind and somehow motivating to see what I actually want to use more in 2015. Not only that, my mum and sisters in law had a ball going through the box of things that I had leftover, and it's nice seeing it go somewhere where it will actually be used! So, I'm going to try and purge a couple more times this year, and be ruthless! And also, get rid of your packaging girl, so not necessary to just have mounds of cardboard sitting next to your vanity.

4. Rotate, rotate, rotate!

I will admit that I am guilty of finding a routine that I love and sticking to it until I buy something new. That's bloody awful! Really, I always lose the love I have for other products because of them being replaced and never used again. So I have decided enough is enough - at least once a month, I will be going through my products and choosing what will be my go-to's for the month. I will put them on my vanity, right in front of me, so I always choose them first before looking elsewhere. I am thinking I will do this as a series on my blog as well, not only to show you guys what I am using, but to actually make me stick to this resolution - let me know if that's something you would like to see!

5. Actually wear the makeup that you buy on a permanent regular basis.

This is a big one - I mentioned above that I rarely wear makeup during the week. That's mainly because I'm lazy and I can't be bothered to get up an extra hour before work to slap it on, but really I should be taking that time to do it rather than waking up 10 minutes before I have to leave and running out. Starting now, I will actually get up when my alarm goes off and take the time to put the effort into my appearance. This will not only minimise the amount of people asking me if I'm tired or sick, but I always feel better about myself if I've taken that extra step towards putting a face on. And we all want to feel pretty and happy, and doing this could actually make my shitty days a little more bearable.

So that's it for my resolutions! I'd love to hear what your beauty resolutions are for 2014 - leave them down below!

Until next time...

june beauty favourites

Hey guys!

June is finally at an end, and you know what that means - it's time to share my favourites of the month with you all! June was such a busy month for me - between finishing off uni assignments and exams, going back to work full time while on holidays and having all sorts of ups and downs, I've barely had time to wear makeup most days! However, I have rediscovered one product, stayed in with some current favourites and of course, fell in love with some newer products.

You know the drill - I will break this down into two categories and give you guys mini reviews of each product featured! Read on to see what I have been loving for June.

BEAUTY

1. Models Prefer Liquid Light Brightening Primer
I spoke about this primer in My Current Favourite Primers post, and I have used this almost every time I've worn makeup this month! I just love how easy this is to use - its a creamy formula with subtle gold shimmers throughout. Once applied, it has this lovely cooling effect on my skin and it just subtley brightens up my complexion without looking like a disco ball. You can find this here on the Priceline website for $16.99AU.

2. Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Brightening Foundation
This was featured in my May Favourites post, and also here where I have a full review on it. I won't harp on - I love this foundation, its amazing and when I have tan it matches me perfectly. I just really enjoy it, and I'm dreading the fact that I may run out of it sooner rather than later. I'm not sure how much this retails for in Australia (I'm going to guess and say the $50-60 range) but you can find it here on the Benefit website (yes, it ships internationally!) for $36US.

3. Australis Fresh & Flawless Pressed Powder
My rediscovered love.. I actually always had this in my makeup bag for touch ups, though I rarely used it. But lately my foundation has been rubbing off my nose and chin badly - so bad that those areas are basically white and the rest of my face is my foundation colour. Now, I set those areas with this powder to give me a little extra coverage, plus it does help them last a little longer as well. I love how flawless this makes my skin look, not cakey whatsoever! The only thing that sucks about this powder is it's colour range - luckily, Deep Natural fits my skin tone exactly! You can find this here on the Priceline website for $11.40AU.

4. MAC Extra Dimension Bronzer in Aphrodites Shell
Eeeeek, I waited so long for this collection to come out! I was so in love with the packaging, plus the fact that the product inside was a plus in itself.. I was a mermaid in a former life, so of course I was going to buy it. This bronzer is just such a gorgeous colour - a beautiful golden brown colour that has just the right amount of pigment that it doesn't look muddy. Just a beautiful bronzed glow. Plus, this can be used dry and wet! How cool! This is the first extra dimension anything that I've owned from MAC, but I love it. I'm not sure if this is still available in stores at MAC, but its been sold out online since it came out.

5. Covergirl Flamed Out Mascara
Oh lawdy, this mascara has been my jam all month! I've actually had to physically force myself to swap it out of my everyday products to give others a chance. I won't say too much, as this will be featured in another blog post this week, but I fricken love it and I will 100% repurchase! You can find this here on the Priceline website for $14.95AU.

6. Benefit Benebalm Hydrating Lip Balm
Again, LOVING all these balms. I mentioned Posiebalm and Lollibalm in my May Favourites and this is my latest addition to that collection. This is just the most natural rose lip colour, and it just goes with everything! Super easy to just slick on so it looks like MLBB. These haven't been released in Australia yet (they will be in August) but they are available here on the Benefit website for $18US.

SKINCARE

7. BioElixia Multi Action Eye Serum
I mentioned this in my Winter Skincare Essentials post, and you guys, I am so impressed with it. It is so hydrating under my eyes, and it sinks in almost immediately into my eye area. I just love how easy it is to use - I've even taking it to placing a little on my nose area and the sides of my lips because those are my dreaded dry areas in Winter, and it works perfectly. You can find this here on the BioElixia website for $39.95AU or you can also find it in store at Myer and David Jones in Australia.

8. Stefan EcoCoco Tan
OMG I am so glad this tan paved its way into my life. This is a cream that develops on your skin, and its infused with coconut oil so it doubles as a body moisturiser as well! I won't lie, the first time I actually used it I thought that it wasn't going to work - and boy was I wrong! This develops into this gorgeous golden colour, and if you put a second coat on it never looks orange - it just enchances that glow. Plus, it smells exactly like coconut, no fake tan smell here. So impressed with this, and I definitely want to try more from this range! You can find this here on the Ecococo for $29.95AU

And that's it for my June favourites! What were some of your staples this month?

Until next time...

winter skincare essentials!

Hey guys!

You may have noticed that I've been a but quiet for a bit over a week now. I had some things happen in my personal life and was lacking in creativity and inspiration, so I decided to take some time off to relax. I'm back though, not to worry, and finally bringing you Part 2 of my Winter Beauty series.

This time its all about skincare, and what I have been using to keep my skin from completely drying up and looking all cray. I have been using this combination since midway through Autumn to start prepping my skin, and have it to thank for my skin feeling as good as it does at the moment. I love trying new things for my skin, but typically in Winter I like to to stick to a rigid routine because straying from it can lead my skin to dry out and look awful - ain't nobody got time fo' dat, amirite?

So here's the routine I stick too - read on to see what I use and why!

After taking off my makeup, the first thing I do is go in with Clarisonic. This little machine is my baby, I'm pretty shocked how much this has improved my skins appearance and texture. I know some people hate on it because of the price, but I do not regret spending one cent. I use this to firstly get rid of any remnants of makeup on my skin (which there always is, even after scrubbing it with my favourite makeup remover the Garnier Micellar Water), and also to gently exfloiate my skin to get rid of any dry patches I may have. My skin always feels completely smooth after using it.

After using my Clarisonic, I get a little cotton round and pour some of this on it. Not only does this get rid of any makeup that the Clarisonic may have left behind, it also adds a little more moisture back into my skin. After swiping it around on the cotton round, I then turn it around and use the drier side to pat off the excess cleanser that hasn't soaked into my skin yet.

Two newer additons that have recently-ish made it into my skincare routine are these two godsends from Bioelixia. I use the Multi V Moisturisng Lotion in the morning, and the Multi Action Eye Serum at night, as it tends to ball up my makeup if I use it in the morning. I adore both products, they smell so good and they're so incredibly hydrating, ESPECIALLY the eye serum. A little tip I also use in Winter is to put my a little of the eye cream on the ends of my nose and on the sides of my lips because those are my driest spots - works wonders, and its so amazingly moisturising!

Oh lawdy, do I love Sukin Skincare. I have a full post on all my products here but these are the two that are most important in my Winter skincare routine. On the left, we have the Sukin Moisture Restoring Night Cream which contains rosehip. I love this as my night time moisturiser, it sinks in straight away without leaving any greasiness at all, just baby soft moisturised skin. On the left, we have my ever beloved Rosehip Oil which I use before the moisturiser. I can never say enough good things about this oil - its another great shot of hydration, yes, but it also makes my skin more plump (in a good way) and radiant when I wake up in the morning. (And yes, I needed a tissue under it because it unfortunately leaks everywhere - even when standing upright!)

And of course, the most necessary part of Winter, for me anyway, is to maintain a gorgeous bronzed glow. Because everythings better with a tan, of course! These are two that I have been loving lately. The J Bronze Dark Tanning Mousse, which gives me this beautiful deep golden colour that looks extremely natural despite being ' fake tan, and a newer edition, the Stefan EcoCoco Tan which is not a mousse but a cream developing tan. I have been using that for the past three weeks, and it smells exactly like Reef Oil and moisturises my skin at the same time - love multipurpose products!

And that's it for my Winter Beauty Skincare Routine! Wouldn't be able to maintain my skin without these products - and it's so important to have this in place because a smoother base will give you a more flawless makeup.

What are some of your Winter skincare essentials?

Until next time...

collective beauty wishlist #1

Hey guys!

I have been crushing on so many products this year! Everytime something gets released, my pupils dilate and I get all excited.. But, as an almost fully fledged adult, I have expenses that unfortunately come before my make up addiction. And, before you ask, yes it is incredibly difficult to hold back but sometimes you just have to keep your hands glued to your sides and your money safely in your bank account. Hiding your debit card doesn't go astray either..

As a result, I am left admiring all of these gorgeous things from afar. But one day, maybe in the immediate future but unlikely, I will own each and every one of these products! I thought that I would share them with you the products that would be on their way to me right now if I had a bottomless bank account. I know all of us go through these stages where we cannot buy the makeup, but looking is harmless.. Isn't it?

1. Too Faced Melted Lipsticks
Obsessed. Need. Want. Now. Honestly, these would probably be on their way to me right now, even if I had to scrape together some coins, but I am desperately in love with the newer shades released in the US (Melted Fig and Melted Berry have my heart), and I'm waiting for those to become available before I go ahead and spend the money. These are just gorgeous products, and seeing as Too Faced is almost on par with most Australian drugstore products in terms of price, I can justify spending the $25-30 these will eventually cost me.

2. Benefit Hervana Blush
If you are a regular reader of my blog, you may already know thay I am not a blush person. In the slightest. It's very rare for me to fall for a blush, and honestly, I don't even use it in my daily routine. I typically save for if I'm going somewhere nice and wearing a full coverage foundation. But everytime I have seen this swatched, I want it more and more! It is just this beautiful pale pink that isn't hugely pigmented - basically everything I look for in a blush.

3. Benefit Balms in Benebalm and ChaChabalm
I already own Lollibalm and Posiebalm, and my gosh - after trying those I need the other two. Sure, it is expensive for a lip balm, I wil give you that. But they are just this gorgeous wash of colour on my lips that are so so so moisturising and creamy that I can't help feeling the pull towards the whole set.

4. YSL Touche Eclat Foundation
Another foundation that I have wanted FOREVER! Ever since watching Jaclyn Hill put this on her face and seeing the finish and the coverage and the packaging - it's just a foundation that is on my Beauty Bucket List. It's just so expensive in Australia, so if I ever buy this, it will be ordered in the US. I want it, but that doesn't mean I can justify the Australian price. Priorities, right?

5. Mary-Kate & Ashley Elizabeth James Nirvana Perfume
One word - packaging. If you don't feel the need to own this perfume upon seeing that bottle.. You may not be as addicted to packaging as I am. Which isn't a bad thing. Nevertheless, I have heard that both of these are beautiful scents (in particular the white bottle), but really the packaging has already sold me. It can't be that pretty if the scent inside isn't as lovely as the outside. Plus, I love Mary-Kate and Ashley. Who doesn't?

6. Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Lipsticks
Did you read my May Favourites? Because this made it in there. I own one in the shade Nudist and lord above all, it is a PERFECT shade of rose and nude and all things MLBB. Seriously, j'adore. I want to own the whole collection, but at $24 a pop, I can't justify buying them unless I seriously love them like Nudist. They are on ASOS for $17.95 and free shipping - maybe one day..

7. Too Faced Sweethearts Blush
Again, I'm not a blush person. But I love the look of these! Plus, seeing them swatched and knowing that I can focus on one sliver of colour or swirl them all together is definitely intriguing. Plus, how cute would these look in my make up drawer? So cute, I can't even stand it. Such a sucker for packaging, but I'm also a sucker for anything Too Faced..

8. Benefit Lollitint
I was so close to buying this, but I was mainly purchasing it because I wanted to use it on my lips. The makeup gods overheard me and made Lollibalm, so I waited for that release and put this one on the backburner. Now that I have tried the balm, and seen the colour, I definitely want this! The fact that it stains your lips, cheeks and whatever else you put it on, is another huge plus. And, again, it's super cute. Win, win!

9. It Cosmetics Naturally Pretty Palette
This is the only palette I feel is needed to complete my eyeshadow collection. Honestly, eyeshadow isn't a part of my daily routine and of all products in my makeup collection eyeshadow isn't a huge part of it. But. I fell in love whem I first saw this, and found it online in Australia for a super reasonable price, so this is on the immediate list!

10. YSL Baby Doll Mascara
I'm a mascara fiend, and I have always wanted to try this baby! But, it's severly overpriced here in Australia, and I can't justify the price here. But it's definitely on the list for if I ever go to the US.

11. Conair Body Benefits LED Mirror
This is on my wishlist, but I'm very close to actually having this! It's incredibly well priced, and even if it's not the grestest mirror it's actually cheaper than lot of the mirrors without LED lighting. Plus, it has the three different angles which is definitely an added benefit!

12. TheBalm Time Balm Primer
I'm always intrigued by primers - especially if they promise a flawless face! TheBalm is definitely an upcoming brand for me - I've recently expanded my collection, and I'm planning a post all about them that will be uploaded in the coming weeks. But getting those products has opened my eyes to the world of TheBalm - I never realised the amount of products and goodness they had to offer!

13. YSL Rouge Volupte Lipstick
Theres a few YSL products on this wishlist, and for good reason - their products are just so beautiful and amazing! I already own #1 and #7 and adore those, and I've always wanted to expand that collection. But alas, their products are way overpriced here so it will be waiting for if I ever go to the US or if anyone wants to buy me one as a present. Hint hint.

14. TheBalm Balm Shelter Tinted Moisturiser
This is actually a newer addition to my wishlist after seeing two of my favourite Youtubers Jen from FromHeadToToe and Kathleen for KathleenLights use this and love it. I'm always on the lookout for new face products (I'm a self confessed foundation junkie - not sorry at all!) to try out amd review for you guys and one day I'll hopefully purchase this to show you guys what its like!

15. It Cosmetics Feel The Moment Ultra Hydrating Primer
As I said before, I love trying out primers, and my favourite one to test are those that are going to hydrate my skin. I have normal skin that leans a little dry, and I love the way my skin feels when its super hydrated. The Australian site that sells It Cosmetics doesn't have this in yet - hopefully it'll be there soon and is affordable so I can introduce this into my collection as well!

16. Josie Maran Argan Oil Lip Treatment
This bottle is cute! Like a teeny tiny genie bottle - so adorable. I use argan oil in my hair, which has improved it an unbelieveable amount, and it has an amazing effect on skin as well.. So I can only imagine what good this could do for my lips. Josie Maran products aren't available in Australia as far as I'm aware, but hopefully one day they will be and I can get this teeny little pot of goodness!

And that's it for my wishlist. I have so many other things that I have to have 'right now' but these are definitely on my immediate list. What are some of the products that are on your wishlists?

Until next time...

april beauty favourites

Hey guys!

It's that time of the month again (no, not that time)! This is the time that I get to share with you all the products I have been loving for the month. Actually, I have really been sticking to my staples this month. I have been unbelieveably busy with all the events of my day to day life, plus the added pressure of university. Knowing that I can always fall back on these is great - I've even rediscovered a couple of my old favourites!

As with my other favourites posts, this will be split up into two sections: beauty and skincare. Of course, this doesn't mean that these are the only products I have loved this month, but these are definite standouts!

Read on to see what I chose for this month!

BEAUTY

1. Lorac Pro Palette
Lord, I have been using this for pretty much ALL of my eyeshadow needs this month. I adore this palette! I don't know I have done without it for so long, but in any case, I am super happy that I finally caved. I have a first impression on this palette here, and also a little tutorial using the palette here. Its just a great everyday palette, gorgeous neutrals and it has a great variety of matte and shimmer shades. Just love, it is defintely a palette you need if you are a fan of neutral shades! I did buy this with a shipping service from Ulta for $42US, and (as far as I know), this is not available in Australia :(

2. It Cosmetics Bye Bye Redness
My skins saviour! I won't go into too much detail, as I wrote a review on it here, but basically my skin has been having a time of it lately. My Clarisonic broke (waaaaaah), and my skin is not happy. At all. I have been having breakouts all over the place, which just adds more redness to my (already red) skin. I have just been stippling the tiniest amount of this over any areas that need it and then go on with my foundation. It just gives that extra coverage to the places I actually need it, without me having to cake my foundation or concealer over the top. I brought this at the same time as the Lorac Pro Palette, as I didn't think it was available here. But, I have found this great website called PM Studio that stock It Cosmetics (based in Sydney) for $42AU!

3. MAC Lipstick in Angel
A forgotten favourite. Looking for the perfect pink lip that wasn't too pink or nude led to me straight back to this baby. Ever since then, when I have wanted a lip other than the darker colours, I have gone straight back to this. Adore it, its just a perfect creamy pink without being too heavy or too sheer. I featured this lipstick here in My Favourite MAC Lipsticks, so you can read more on the colour there. This retails for $36AU at any MAC counter or online.

4. Chapstick Conditioner & Night Repair Treatment Lip Balms
I'm a self confessed lip balm junkie (see my post on all things lip balm here), and Chapstick are one of my favourite brands ever. I was lucky enough to be sent some to try, which included these two. I used to use the conditioner all the time, and I've rediscovered it now that Winter is fast approaching and my lips are chapping. Its amazing to just keep them hydrated and protected in the cooler months. The Night Repair is a newer product, but I love it. The smell is like cinnamon toast and its a very lightweight liquid that is so long lasting and keeps my lips moisturised all night long. You can find these here or at any store that stocks Chapstick for $4.69AU and $7.99AU respectively.

5. Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara
This is the product I have really rediscovered this month. I used to use this all the time, because of how long it makes my lashes. I've also figured a way to layer it so it gives volume to them as well, without having to use another volumising mascara on top. Love
love love, this has been a serious staple this whole month. The fact that it doesn't damage your lashes as much as other mascaras is just another benefit. I got this from Priceline for $17.95AU.

6. Revlon Colourburst Matte Balms in Sultry & Shameless
I adore these balms (I have a post dedicated to them here), and I featured these particular shades in the Top Five Autumn/Fall Lipsticks. I love Sultry for a night out, and Shameless when I'm feeling spontaneous. These are fantastic, I love them and these shades are the perfect shades to switch between for Autumn. I brought these BOGO free when Priceline had their introductory sale. They normally retail for $17.95AU each, and you can purchase them here.

SKINCARE

7. Garnier Moisture Match Gentle Goodbye Dry Cleansing Milk
This is a newer addition, as it was only released recently, but I am loving this! Every morning and night, I just put a little of this onto a Swissper cotton round, pat it into my skin, and then turn the Swissper over to soak up the leftover product. It just gives a little added moisture to my skin before going in with my other serums, oils and moisturisers. This retails for $6.39AU and I got mine from Priceline.

8. L'Oreal Youth Code Eye Serum
I have been loving this for hydrating my eye area in the day time. I do use a different one at night, but this is just so easy and hydrating for underneath my face of the day. I also love how this doesn't ball up underneath my foundation or concealer - like many other eye creams I have tried and disliked. But all in all, I am impressed with this! I'm not sure if this is still available, but I did purchase this from Priceline for between $20-30AU.

9. Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water
I won't drone on about this - this was featured in my last favourites as well as a completely separate review here. Love this stuff, CANNOT get enough. Plus, that is still the same bottle that I brought a month ago and it's still going strong despite me using it at least once a day. This retails for about $11.99AU and you can find it here.

Speaking of skincare, I am also in the market for a new serum to use in my day time routine! If you have any suggestions, please leave them below - I would love to hear what you guys would recommend.

And that's all for my April Beauty Favourites! What are some of the products you have been loving this month?

Until next time...
